19_1998_"I'll get you for this Kristen! If it's the last thing I do!"

Edmund is confused about "Susan's" recent behavior. John is struggling with his guilt over "Kristen's" suicide. Marlena talks with Eric about the suicide and Marlena agrees with him that suicide is out of character for Kristen. John and Hope run into each other on the pier. Hope attempts to help John understand that he's not responsible for "Kristen's" death. "Susan" continues to keep putting off Edmund's proposal. The REAL Susan was sold by Kristen into a harem belonging to a Sultan and she is furious! Marlena tells Laura that "Kristen's" death was a suicide and Laura seems surprised. Roman tells Stefano that he thinks Marlena will choose him over John, but Stefano doesn't think that's how it's going to play out. Laura seems pretty smug after reading the newspaper headline about "Kristen's" death. Marlena hasn't been able to get ahold of John, even going to his room at the Salem Inn and leaving a message. Susan is alive and well, screaming and yelling, after being sold to a sultan. This is part of a storyline titled: The Killing Pool.
